Celebrating joy brings more joy into life. If you feel that you have no joy, celebrate being. Because if you are, there is possibility for immense joy. Celebrate!

Good Vibrations
Saturday, June 27, 2009
Nice people have nice vibrations. Optimistic people bring optimism even without saying anything. Sad people make you gloomy just by their presence.
Everybody gets sad some or the other time. It is those who struggle at the right time to get out of it who get out in time, others end up wasting time. Realizing that we're sad is one thing, doing something to cheer ourselves up is another. Nobody can cheer us as well as ourselves. The lesser time we spend on bad feelings, more we have for the good ones. Anybody who thinks like that, will automatically bring that feeling to you. Thats why spending time with friends when they are "supposedly" cheering you up, helps.
You want to be happy, get around happy people. And whoever agrees on wasting time on sadness, don't you even dare come near me.

Think in terms of what you want
Friday, April 3, 2009
What you want is what you get in life. If you focus on the things you don't want, you would not get the things you want. In order to get what you want, you have to focus on the things you want. And because there are just so many things you can focus on, single mindedly, focussing on the things you DON'T want only leads you astray.

Looking for people who understand us, we overlook the ones who do that best
Tuesday, February 24, 2009
We look for people who can understand us. We all do. You too must have wished for someone who could understand what you are going through. Or what really makes you happy. Or someone who knows exactly how you feel right now. Haven't you?We often confuse companionship with love. And so we just keep looking for it in the ones we love. But every relationship has its own place. A friend is a friend. A lover is a lover. A mother is a mother. We need all of them. Even those relationships that have no name...but this post is not for them.
An elder sibling is a parent who is your own day and age. He/She understand what you need to know, What you want to know, And also, what you know and wouldn't admit. Somebody we love to miss for fighting with. Someone who always thinks we're in love with the wrong person. Somebody we like to tease, tickle and please. Someone who has seen you through the best and the worst and has been there, literally, by default. Posted by Deepa Goyal 0 comments

Would you?
There are so many things we fail to say. So many things that we fail to acquire. So many. And every one of us. And yet, life has a way of being so wonderful as it is. It remains forever, just that - wonderful.
Would you rather be someone else?

Magic Of Mother Tongue
Sunday, February 22, 2009
If we observe closely, the music in our mother tongue works better for us than others. Not because it is better for some artistic reason. But we just connect better. So it requires less attention. It comes so naturally to us. So in some vague way, it relieves stress like no other language can. It makes us feel home; comfortable; at ease. Think about it...

New year new year! Oh resolutions?
Thursday, January 1, 2009We resolve to do things that we might not end up doing. But we're still without them so no problem. But what about things we resolve not to do and do repeatedly? So if you dont live up the resolution you have something that you dont want to have. Its like you have something good, you dont have something good and not a something bad either, or you have something bad about you. States, of being. Third one is bad. Surprisingly worse than the second state. First is wonderfull of course!
So what do we resolve? To make our resolves work! Because plan we may, target we may, but if we fail at it, it feels bad. And there's no better feeling than winning. And thats all we do things for, all we work for, put in efforts for - TO FEEL GOOD!

Sharing joys of everyday life.
Friday, October 10, 2008If you love someone, you want them to be there more and more and more. Doesn't make sense, but you want it so. You want to tell them about everything. You want them to tell you everything. And you want to giggle together. And you want to do that all the time with everything.
That is a nice test actually. If you don't think of that certain somebody when they are not around (thinking anything or nothing in particular but about them) then there's something missing. You need to work harder. Work at it together. Or work at something else together. Togetherness brings people together. You may love someone who's very different from you. But sometimes, we just want our loved ones to share the excitement that the too-different people don't relate to. The joys of everyday life. Like couples can cook together. Or evening walks. Paint. Music lessons. The simple things are really most pleasant. And they work. In human relationships, they work.

Two ways to live a life
Wednesday, August 27, 2008Happiness is mostly irrespective of pains or sorrows. Its about accepting whatever is happening to you. About being ok with the circumstances and events. Anybody with too many regrets can't achieve the peace of mind to truly feel happy. When we are focussed, so our state of mind is also not disturbed easily.
Sometimes pain temporarily blinds our way. All we really need to do is focus on what we really want and see the bigger picture. And there are all the answers.
At the end of it, no matter how we sugar coat it. The truth of the matter is, there are only two ways to live a life. When you're happy and one when you're not happy. If you're doing a lot of things and still feel miserable, my dear, you are unhappy. You need to try something new. Make it right.
Of course this is something I'm not telling you. I am telling this to myself. It may or may not help you.
